Colombia Spay/Neuter Initiative 2019

VILLA DE LEYVA & CARTAGENA, 2019

In 2019 the Humane Outreach for Latin Animals launched their organization to help animals in need. They set a goal to help 400 animals.
With the help of some amazing volunteers, including our own veterinary technician Tanya Kirn, they managed to help 867 animals through spay/neuter and wellness treatments.

Organizations like HOLA help areas dealing with pet overpopulation in Latin America. They also donate funds to help shelters and rescues in need to help support the homeless animals of the area.

This was Tanya’s first spay/neuter initiative out of country but won’t be her last!
